British Film Institute  Government funded body to encourage film-making and going. They run London's brilliant NFT, main venue for the annual London Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, which was sponsored this year by OutUK. They also finance film tours round the country, release videos & DVDs and all manner of good things cinematic.
