Intimate, erotic, poignant, the photographs of Howard Roffman are celebrations of male beauty
sensuality and youthful naturalness, tenderness and suspense. For the first time Howard's
pictures are featured in an exhibition which opens in London on the 29th May.
Howard Roffman - First Decade features 42 tantalizing images of young men drawn from his eight best-selling photography books like Three and his study of Johan Paulik. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Howard, who's 49, now lives in San Francisco with his partner of 28 years. He studied law and he works for Director George Lucas where he's in charge of licencing and marketing products from films like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. His photography career did not start until 1991 but his interest in photography and beautiful men dates back to when he was a child.
