Pregnancy Breastfeeding And Fertility While Taking ApixabanNHS medicines information on apixaban and whether you can take it while pregnant or breastfeeding.Apixaban and pregnancyApixaban should not be taken during pregnancy. If you take apixaban and are planning a pregnancy or you become pregnant while taking it, speak to your doctor or specialist. You will need to be changed to a different medicine. Apixaban and breastfeedingApixaban is not usually recommended while breastfeeding. Speak to your doctor about other medicines you can use while breastfeeding. Apixaban and fertilityThere's no evidence to suggest that taking apixaban reduces fertility in either men or women. Speak to a pharmacist or your doctor if you're trying to get pregnant.
