Taking Lactulose With Other Medicines And Herbal SupplementsNHS medicines information on possible interactions with lactulose and other medicines, herbal remedies and supplements.Cautions with other medicinesThere are no known problems mixing lactulose with other medicines or herbal remedies. Taking lactulose with other laxativesFor most people, 1 laxative will be enough to relieve constipation. Occasionally, you may need to take 2 different types of laxatives at the same time to get your bowels moving again. Only take 2 laxatives together on the advice of your doctor or pharmacist, as there's an increased risk of side effects.
